LIFE’S ORPHANS’ HIGH SCHOOL LAGHMAN
ARE in serious need of upgrading and repair. The water systems are minimal and the rooms are nearly impossible to heat. Personal hygiene is difficult and life is often quite dire. We would like to bring a little bit of normalcy into the lives of these orphan children by giving them a place that will seem a little more like home. Only through your generosity and the hard work of our partner, LIFE for Relief and Development, can we help these children grow up to be ready for the uncertain world they will face in the future.
Our initial goal is to build a new orphan facility in Laghman and repair the orphanage building in Jalalabad. The building in Laghman is rented and is in need of extensive repairs and upgrading that the owner will not repair. We want to build a new building for the orphans on land that the Afghan government has already provided for this project.
Hopefully, in the future we can also either purchase or upgrade the building in Jalalabad.

We would like to establish industrial training classes with some modest equipment for instruction purposes. Perhaps sewing machines and carpenter/masonry tools and materials.
War is all that so many Afghanis have ever known. Let’s do something to show this new generation another way of living.
